17th Annual Fort Halifax Park Banquet 2024
Friends of Fort Halifax Park, Inc. held their 17th Annual Colonial Fort Halifax Park Banquet Fundraiser on Saturday, February 17, 2024. All proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit educational history and nature programming and events, maintainance of trails, gardens, meadows, waterways, signage, and building repair at the park.

16th Annual Fort Halifax Park Banquet 2023
16th Annual Fort Halifax Park Banquet - February 18, 2023. This banquet is the only major fundraisier FoFHP hosts each year. A full turkey dinner, desserts, raffles, silent auction, drawings, and 50/50 are all part of the fun! The proceeds benefit Fort Halifax Park.
FoFHP would like to thank our supporters, partners, members, and new friends who attended this event. We had a full house of great guests, food raffles, and auctions. Thanks fo our FoFHP team who prepped and worked long hours to offer a wonderful event for everyone who attended. Most especially, thank you Dr. Jonathan Bruns! Dr. Burns spoke about the history of Fort Halifax, its archaeological significance and importance to our area, what artifacts have been found - some as far back as the 1500's, and the upcoming June promise of more rediscovery! Wow, what a great night! Thanks everyone!

15th Annual Banquet 2020
Friends of Fort Halifax Park, Inc., hosted their 15th Annual Banquet and Basket Raffle on Saturday, February 22, 2020
A delicious turkey dinner with all the fixin's and desserts, made by FoFHP member volunteers, was enjoyed by everyone at this almost sold out event. The speaker for the evening was Dr. Kurt Carr, Senior Archaeology Curator of the State Museum of Pennsylvania. Dr. Carr spoke about the history of the Susquehannock Indians in the Susquehanna Valley up through current times and answered many questions from our guests. Thank you to our hard working members, the many organizations and individuals who donated for the basket raffles and silent auction and also everyone who purchased 50/50 chances and tickets for this fundraiser to further the Friends of Fort Halifax Park Inc.'s goals for Fort Halifax Park. Friends of Fort Halifax Park, Inc., hosted their 14th Annual Banquet and Basket Raffle on Saturday, February 23, 2019
The speaker for the evening was the former Millersburg Ferryboat captain, Captain Jack Dillman. Mr. Dillman spoke to our large crowd about the historic Wiconisco Canal system in our area and beyond. Our guests enjoyed a homemade turkey and fixin's dinner, desserts, many raffles, silent auction items, a 50/50, and door prizes. Thank you to the many people who donated, crafted, planned, cooked, set up, cleaned up, attended, and helped in so many ways! We are truly grateful for the support of our community and friends - THANK YOU! (February 2019)

Friends of Fort Halifax Park, Inc. 13th Annual Banquet 2018 – Our BEST Banquet yet! A huge thank you to all our guests and members, everyone who generously donated their time and talents for the raffle, and worked so hard cooking, baking, decorating, setting-up, taking-down, and cleaning-up! A truly enjoyable evening of friendship and fellowship that culminated with a wonderful portrayal of Simon Girty Jr. by our Guest Speaker, Frank Wilmarth! We are also grateful to the PA Museum Commission for assembling a display of Fort Halifax Relics found at the Park for all to enjoy!
