19th Annual

Colonial Fort Halifax Festival

**2025 Event Postponed**
Due to circumstances beyond our control, we have made the very difficult decision to postpone this event until 2026.
Thank you for your support and understanding.  We
and hope to see everyone again soon.
The Annual Colonial Fort Halifax Festival at Fort Halifax Park is an enjoyable history event for everyone.  Friends of Fort Halifax Park, Inc. (FoFHP) hosts three events during two days.  The free parking and admission Colonial Festival is open from 10am to 5pm on the first Saturday of May with living history demonstrations, French and Indian War trade and battle reenactments, British, French, and Native American encampments, handmade period artisans, the Central York Middle School Fife and Drum Corp., handmade arts and crafts, delicious food, hay wagon rides, and much more entertainment for everyone.

The Friday before the Colonial Festival FoFHP hosts 5th grade students for a living history Education Day doing round-robin hands-on demonstrations!
In the evening, for members, living historians, reenactors, and guests an Appreciation Reception with a guest speaker is held.  The speakers present interesting history of the time-period and are always informative and entertaining.

The Colonial Festival is a unique and enjoyable event for visitors to experience life in the 1700's in Colonial America, and at the place where Fort Halifax once stood and is now being newly "rediscovered".

Registration forms are mailed to all participants on record. If you are not currently in our list of participants, but would like to be included in future registration mailings, please click here.
Vendor Registration Forms:  Please click on the form links below if you would like to register for this event.  Details can be found on the forms.  Forms were mailed to participants on record and are due no later than March 31, 2024.
